This internship provides you with the chance to build your technical and entrepreneurial skillset while expanding your professional network. You'll be part of a dynamic team working on solutions for renowned clients—including DAX30 organizations and Fortune 500 companies.

You’ll support us in developing scalable data pipelines, optimizing data flows, and collaborating closely with our top-tier data scientists. You’ll also be able to work remotely within Europe (CET +/- 2 hours) or from our Frankfurt offices, with flexible hours to accommodate your studies.

The Role

As a Data Engineering Intern, you will support the team in building and maintaining the infrastructure that transforms raw data into actionable insights, helping our clients achieve their goals. You will work on real-world data engineering tasks and contribute to projects that impact the success of our company.

 

  • Assisting with collecting, cleaning, and integrating data from various sources to make it usable for analysis
  • Supporting the maintenance and optimization of databases to ensure data quality and availability
  • Supporting Data Scientists by providing clean and structured data for analytical projects or machine learning models
  • Maintaining documentation for data processes, pipelines, and data structures
  • Getting familiar with tools like SQL, Python, Apache Spark, Hadoop, and cloud technologies such as AWS.
  • Gaining exposure to start-up operations and working directly with the founding team.

What You'll Bring

  • Currently enrolled in a university program, studying Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline, with strong academic performance.
  • Eagerness to learn and develop skills in data engineering, cloud-based data platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud, Azure), and data processing frameworks such as Apache Spark or Hadoop.
  • Familiarity with database systems, data warehousing, and ETL processes.
  • Proficiency in SQL and experience with programming languages like Python (experience with Pandas is a plus).
  • A passion for problem-solving and tackling technical challenges.
  • A strong interest in start-ups and an entrepreneurial mindset.
  • Fluent in English (Fluency in German is a plus).
  • Availability to work remotely (within CET +/- 2 hours) or occasionally join us in our Frankfurt or Berlin Co-Working Space.
